The selection process will be conducted in four stages:

1. CBT Stage 1 (Computer–Based Test—Screening)
2. CBT Stage 2 (Detailed Subject Test)
3. CBAT  (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) for shortlisted candidates .

RRB ALP 2025 Syllabus & Exam Pattern (Brief)

CBT Stage 1:

• Duration 60 minutes
• Subjects: Math, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness
• Total questions: 75

CBT Stage 2:

• Part A (100 questions-90 minutes)
• Part B (Trade Test- 75 questions-60 minutes, qualifying in nature)
